What can be done with RFID in a ubiquitous network environment?
How about instant inventory accessible online? or a Frappr map of everything in a store of goods circulating over the country?
How about some form of rf accessed ID in a camera - so that the camera you happen to be using knows who you are and dumps the data it is generating on a WiFi enabled portable data store... or one in Japan that you've assigned from a phone menu or a menu on the camera! All secure because you've enabled the transport with a biometrically enabled cell phone. This goes for full motion camcorders... personal web cams, lapel cams, hat cams, car cams, all WiFi with secure ID so that once "turned on" and enabled to one ID, become a second set of eyes that only your phone can be used to initiate transport or allow remote access. With ubiquitous WiFi and camera devices that have secure transports via radio standards - WiFi or Bluetooth - you'd have secure eyes that could be turned on and left to expand your "attention" paid to your world. _________________ Just because it looks that way doesn't mean the Universe is about us, you or me.
